When　I　first　saw　the　cover　art　of　this　new　chapter　in　the　story,　I　was　initially　concerned.　It　seemed　as　if　the　style　had　become　"cuter",　and　Lil's　design　was　also　changed　a　bit,　with　lighter　skin.　I　thought　that　maybe　the　author　was　taking　away　Lil's　"edge"　to　make　him　conform　visually　to　what　we　see　in　typical　uke　characters..　However,　I　was　wrong.　Although　both　characters　seem　to　be　developing　in　their　own　ways　and　we　are　getting　to　know　more　about　their　mentality,　they　aren't　being　toned　down.　Lil　is　still　a　feisty　and　edgy　brown-skinned　man,　which　makes　it　more　exciting　to　see　him　play　out　his　role　as　the　uke.　Zane's　more　traditional　mindset　of　wanting　to　"tame"　him　leads　to　a　thrilling　tension　between　them.　It　is　rare　that　I　am　able　to　find　a　story　like　this,　with　a　bottom　like　Lil.　There　is　a　lot　of　love　and　care　put　into　the　portrayal　of　Lil.　His　hair　is　even　given　special　care,　decorated　with　dreadlock　rings　and　beads.
It's　lovely.
